CALL TO PRAYER

Pastor Jonathan has called people to prayer and fasting on Wednesday,
June 3.

Pray for God’s vision during this time. We need God’s vision for our lives, our church, and our country right now. We need his Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

If you are able to go without food for all or part of the day, please join in fasting as well.

Zoom Fellowship

One of the things we miss most about in person worship is seeing each other’s faces. So, let’s try Zoom.
Fellowship Times:
Sundays at 9:30 am and 12:15 pm.
Meeting links will be posted here.

These are video meet-ups so we can talk and see each other on our phones, tablets, or computers. For the best experience, you will want to download the Zoom app. There is also an option to call in using the phone line.

We still can’t get together in person, but we’ll give this a try for the next few weeks.

Worship with Us
10 AM or 11:11 AM

For the time being, we will only be having our worship services online. Both services are available here.

Sundays 10:00 am Traditional Worship, and 11:11 am Modern Worship.

Stay connected to our Facebook page for more details.

Join Us Online

…not from a spirit of fear,
but from the love and care for our neighbors.
Read a message from Pastor Jonathan about the decision and what our faith calls us to do in difficult times.

Drive-in

Here is the bulletin to print or view online:

Hi church family! We are excited about our drive in worship service this morning at 11:00 AM in our church parking lot!

We will have a great morning of gathering together (while still practicing social distancing!) to worship Jesus in our cars.

The bulletin is available online to view on your phone or tablet.
The lyrics for the songs are printed below.

If you can’t make it to the drive-in, we will still be streaming our sanctuary worship service at 10:00 and 11:11 or you can listen to the drive-in service broadcast in the Corry area on 98.9 FM.

Days of Elijah
These are the days of Elijah,
Declaring the word of the Lord
And these are the days of Your servant Moses,
Righteousness being restored
And though these are days of great trial,
Of famine and darkness and sword,
Still, we are the voice in the desert crying
“Prepare ye the way of the Lord!”

Behold He comes riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call,
Lift your voice, it’s the year of jubilee,
And out of Zion’s hill salvation comes.

These are the days of Ezekiel,
The dry bones becoming as flesh,
And these are the days of Your servant David,
Rebuilding a temple of praise.
These are the days of the harvest,
The fields are as white in Your world,
And we are the laborers in Your vineyard,
Declaring the word of the Lord!

Behold He comes riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call,
Lift your voice, it’s the year of jubilee,
And out of Zion’s hill salvation comes.

10,000 Reasons
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before, Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name

The sun comes up
It’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass
And whatever lies before me
Let me be singing
When the evening comes

Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before, Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name

You’re rich in love
And You’re slow to anger
Your name is great
And Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness
I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons
For my heart to find

Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before, Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name

And on that day
When my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years and then forevermore
Forevermore

Indescribable
From the highest of heights to the
depths of the sea
Creation’s revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming

[Chorus]
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and
You know them by name
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim –  You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt
where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and
gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom[Chorus]

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing God
Incomparable, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same
You are amazing God

How Great is Our God
The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the Earth rejoice, All the Earth rejoice
He wraps himself in light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice, Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands,
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end, beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son, The Lion and the Lamb,
The Lion and the Lamb

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

You’re the name above all names
You are worthy of our praise
And my heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Be the Church

Even though we can’t be together in the usual way, we still can pull together for our church family and the community that Jesus wants us to care about. Here are some ways to Be Corry First (caring, concerned, prayerful and loving) at this time.

Be Hands and Feet

Run Errands
Corry First has volunteers who will go to the store for basic items, and deliver them to your home.
Prescriptions can also be picked up and delivered.

Pick up Mail
We can help get mail from the Post Office or take something to be mailed

Be a Voice

Make a Call
People may feel isolated and lonely at this time. We can connect you to someone who will check in by phone just to chat, take your prayer requests or help you make contact with others

Send a Card
If you know of someone who might appreciate receiving an uplifting card, let us know

Lift a Prayer
Corry First is a praying church. We can lift your praises and offer prayers for your concerns.

Be a Provider

Make Masks
With the mandate to wear masks when in public, many will be needed. We have volunteers who can make masks if you are in need

Donations
Generous donations of materials for masks, non-perishable food items, self-care items and funds are appreciated.

Bibles
Reading God’s comforting Words can be a blessing in times of uncertainty. If you need a Bible or would like help finding and understanding passages that provide assurance, contact us.
