What to Expect

Worship Services

Sunday School is at 9:00 am; Worship at 10:00am in the Sanctuary followed by Fellowship in the lobby.

Q: I have young children.  Will they be disruptive in the worship service?
A: We provide infant and toddler care during the AM worship service. If you prefer to keep you children with you during the service, that is fine. The sounds of children are reminders of life…besides, most of us are (or have been) parents of young children. It’s not a bother!

Q: How do the pastors like to be addressed?
A: Pastor Duk Hee, or Pastor

Q: What am I expected to wear for Sunday Worship?
A: Some wear suits or dresses, others may dress more casually, and still others wear jeans and a t-shirt.  The bottom line is that we care about you, not about your clothes.

Live, Online Options

Q: What is “Watch Online”?
A: Our Sunday morning worship service along with other events and programs are streamed live over the internet.  For many reasons some cannot be here to worship in person and they join us online.  We value the relationship with our online attendees and recognize the presence of the Holy Spirit in our mutual ministry of worshiping and serving Christ.
You can access the live stream of our services via the “Watch Online” link at the top of the page.  An online usher will be available to assist you and to speak (through text) with you to share any needs you may wish to add to our prayer requests.  The weekly bulletin, some sermon notes and an online Bible are available.

Q: Is there an option for online giving?
Yes.  Giving to Corry First can be accessed here or using the “Give” link at the top of the page.

General Information

Q: Is the church accessible?
A: When the building was constructed in 1994, detail was given to provide accessibility to all. The entire building is one floor and all rooms, doors and restrooms are ADA compliant.  The sanctuary has wide aisles and there are numerous locations for wheelchair seating.  Large-print worship guides and discreet, wireless listening devices are available. Ushers and Greeters are available to assist as needed.  We want everyone to feel welcome.

Q: As a visitor, how may I participate?
A: The ministry and programs of the church are always open to all regardless of membership or affiliation. Even when we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion, it is open and available to all who are in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.  Please feel free and welcome to participate.  Most leadership opportunities, however, are reserved for full members of the church.  After attending, if you feel called to make this your home church, please contact the office about membership.
